Interesting Pickaroon

I picked up this pickaroon a while back that I bought for the handle – Euro looking square-eyed deal. Don’t know if it is an import, homemade from an axe, etc. It does kind of have some “ears/lugs” going on.
It weighs 1 1/4lbs and had some interesting blue paint on it that I wheeled a bit to look for a mark of any sorts.

Any way, it needs some straightening to align it and I know I won’t do it so…

If someone thinks they would like to make a project of it then it’s yours for shipping but you have to post your work here of course. :)

The blue paint is in the pits so it's surely something done later. To me this looks like a logging camp tool or sawmill tool, something made by the company smith in camp or at the mill, possibly from an axe or some other tool. It's cool. A pickeroon doesn't need perfect form to be functional. My hunch is that it was made from a worn out double bit. That notch in the back of the eye makes me think this.

This all seems right on, especially your take on it possibly being made from a double bit. Here is a picture of the handle it was knocked onto when I picked it up:

Glad it is being adopted. Looking forward to what becomes of it.
