So we all know about IMDB.com (Internet Movie Database) and most of us probably know about IMFDB.org (Internet Movie Firearms Database) but is there any such thing for knives? I've seen discussions about knives in movies and TV in knife-specific threads, but not with reference to specific movies or programs. Putting it together would be a positively herculean task, so I'm not about to do it myself, but has anyone tried this? If so, where?

I've considered this a time or two. But there are so many knives that are custom made to a specific movie with no basis in reality, it might be impossible to even attempt.

I think in world of knifes,a lot and i mean really lot of us were influenced big time,by movie knifes especially in memories from childhood.... Movie props of knifes deserves surely their own sort of database, where they could be found and researched, included their stats, history, maker, designer etc.....Simply whatever relevant to them.Often there are a lot of questions coming from general public in regards of knifes people seen in movies and creating sort of internet dynamically updated datacentre for these is good idea.Speaking of movie knifes, for me where always very significant "shocking monster knifes" for that time-like Predator Dutch Shaffer machete,Rambo 3,or Croc Dundee, these three were always myvand mine friends favourite ones....At the time of movies, these knifes seem like an impossible knife ICONS

I would love to see this. There used to be a thread on here specifically talking about the knives of NCIS. I have been surprised that has not been revived lately.

Great idea if someone can put it all together!
