Today I managed to finish this dagger. I made it for a friend of mine, who is carp angler like me. This explains the carp drawing on the sheath. Most likely the dagger will not have any
application in the fishing process , but I know that he will like it. It's a full tang construction with tapered tang and etched decorations on the blade.

Steel – 1.2379 (d2) 59-60 HRC.
OAL - 248 mm (~10").
Blade - 131Х25Х3.6mm (~5.1x1x0.14") flat grind with secondary bevel.
Blade finish - p 800 and etched decoration.
Handle –g10 and inox .
Leather sheath.
Weight with/without sheath - 163/221 grams.

My usual hunter design with 20-30 mm extra on the blade.

Steel – Elmax 59-60 HRC.
OAL - 282 mm (~11").
Blade - 154Х30Х3.8mm (~6x1.2x0.15") flat grind with secondary bevel.
Blade finish - p 800.
Handle – Stabilized alder and maple burl, fiber and inox .
Leather sheath with snake skin.
Weight with/without sheath - 195/298 grams.

Just finished this dagger. Full tang with riveted inox bolster, some decorations etched on the blade and snake skin stamp on the sheath.

Steel – D2 60-61 HRC.
OAL - 252 mm (~10").
Blade - 132Х23Х4.2mm (~5.2x0.9x0.16") flat grind with secondary bevels.
Blade finish - p 800 and etched decorations.
Handle – G10 and inox .
Leather sheath.
Weight with/without sheath - 183/232 grams.

This one is for my dentist and friend , who is a bit obsessed with knives. Thick and heavy blade , tempered to lower hardness for additional toughness.

Blade - 134Х33Х5mm (~5.3x1.3x0.2") flat grind with secondary bevel.

A hunting knife that I recently finished. The handle block was one of my nicest alder burls so I thought it deserves a mokume guard and pommel and a fancy sheath.

A hunting knife for a park ranger. The size and the shape was set by him. Not my favourite design but I tried to make it as functional as possible.
