Irish Pub in Baltimore???

I've got a short (20 hours) layover in Baltimore before heading on to the sandbox and would like to spend my last few drinking hours doing it right

Any recommendations on a Irish (or other)wattering hole in Baltimore?? Thanks to Uncle Suger I'll be staying at the BWI Sheraton so anyplace close to BWI is a bonus.

dont know if anyone around here is from baltimore.....but I bet you could find out if you start looking around on the net.. It is really a wealth of information.

Tried that already, can't find squat about good Irish Pubs. Everything I've seen is geared towards the college and/or tourist crowd, not what I'm looking for

Figgured somebody might know about a small neighbourhood pub not on the web.

However, their is a dance club right in the hotel

Get a cab, have him take you to Fell's Point. It was once a pier and fishmarket (many years before I lived there) now it is just bars and curio shops up and down both sides of the street. Some are nice watering holes, some are typical meat market type nightclubs. The Green Turtle is a decent one to drink in. There are several Irish pubs in Baltimore, but I can't for the life of me remember any names. I left there in 1990 but go back about once a year to visit my wifes family. I always spend at least one night making the rounds.

I did a little search on http://www.555-1212.com and came up with these names. I included phone numbers if you wanted to see if they were what you are looking for and close to your hotel.
