Has anyone here ever had dealings with Collectors Firearms vendor?

Collectors Firearms
7626 Westheimer @ S Voss Rd
Houston, TX. 77063

There is a rare blade made by a fairly well-known knifemaker. And they have it for sale. But it turns out it was previously owned. They have very scant info about the merchandise, though.

Being very new to knife collection (just started like ... three days ago), several questions come to mind. Here are some:

1. How do I know the product they're selling is the genuine thing and not a counterfeit?

2. Do used items come with a warranty of any kind?

3. Have you had any dealings with Collectors Firearms? If so, what was your experience? Are they reputable?

The item I am interested in is fairly pricey so I am just trying to be cautious.
I'd appreciate any good advice you can give me.

3. I bought a pistol from them a few years back - easy transaction. I think they’ve been around for a while and have a solid reputation.

Not supposed to post links to non-supporting vendors and this thread would be best placed in the Good, Bad, & The Ugly.

My apologies. Being new to this forum (joined like 2-3 days ago), I had no idea there is a list of approved vendors. If I may ask, where might I find such a list?

And why is Collectors Firearms not on that list?
Is there anything I should be aware of about the vendor?

To Forum Moderator(s): Would you kindly move this thread to the appropriate section? Thank you.

I used to live in Houston and they were my go to "brick & mortar" store for knives. Their "knife guy" was great and a pleasure to deal with. They used to have a very nice selection of customs and productions but they were robbed and they're knife section never really came back from that. The robbery is on Youtube haha.

I ordered an old used rifle from they're website. Order processing and shipping was very fast. Unfortunately, the firearm pictured in the listing was not the same one that I received. Mistakes happen sometimes on a website so I wasn't to bothered, just a little inconvenient.
I emailed them and they were quick to respond and send me a return label. I'll be waiting for return to process and a refund. Hopefully that part of the transaction goes smoothly. I will update when the issue is concluded

Edited: Full Refund Received

Purchased a custom blade from Collectors Firearms, Inc. just recently. Talked to them twice on the phone to inquire about details of the merchandise since there was hardly any info on their website. Seriously, all they had on the merchandise was the name of the knife and some pictures. Nothing about the blade material, blade thickness, blade length, etc. It was only through conversation over the phone that I learned the item was previously owned. Even then, they failed to disclose that there are visible damages to the tip of the blade, IMPORTANT info for buyers! And YES, I did ask them if there were any visible damages on the blade, to which they answered, "No." Their not so detailed photos failed to displayed the damage.

Unfortunately for me, I found out the knife had a chipped blade only AFTER I received the item. As a budding machirologist, I refuse to deal with damaged custom blades which is what this was. Especially since I am not equipped to perform extensive repair work.

So I sent the item right back along with the request for a full refund.
Waiting to hear from them and see how they handle this.

I'll be less than happy if they deduct 15% restocking fee from the refund which they have yet to issue. Since it wasn't my fault, I shouldn't be penalized for it.

Collectors Firearms gave me a full refund for the custom blade I returned so I can't complain too much.

A couple of days ago, I saw that they relisted the same blade for sale.
There's no description of the knife, only three pictures.
If you plan to buy anything from them, be sure to ask questions.
