is Ka-bar customer service any good?

Hey guy's, been looknig at ka-bar's Bob Dozier folders for a while.But I was wondering whats Ka-bar like as a company ?

Do they have good customer service ? (ie) broken clip pivot screws ect...

The reason why I ask is ive never owned a Ka-bar before and I would like to know what sort of company they run before purchasisng there produtcs.

Yeah, they take care of issues. It works like this, they warranty against manufacturer defects. That said, I've seen them replace broken knives, chipped knives, and knives that were throw "over a hundred times, and it never broke, until the last time I threw it".

Yeah, great customer service.:D

They are a great company, IMO one of the best. They stand behind their products %100. Their customer service people are very friendly. And their products are offered at a very nice price. The dozier is a very nice, affordable pocket knife. It takes a keen edge. :thumbup:
 
I only have one KaBar product right now (BK2), and it was delivered with a defective sheath (The snap on the sheath was broken). I contacted KaBar about it wondering if the sheath would be under warranty. After a few emails back and forth describing the problem, I got a new sheath sent out to me free of charge.

So while I only have limited experience with them, they seem to stand behind their products, and took the time to help me out. I'd say they're pretty darn good.
 
I would buy any Kabar product without reservation. They stand behind their stuff 100%. I'm more comfortable buying their products than ANY other companies products.

like, right now. but you can't SEE them. just know they are there. watching.

make an honest saving throw and destroy a knife? well, typically you are covered.

they don't cover abuse of course, and some random other issues like "testing" in a vice (hint: that's abuse).

and their service is not GOOD. it's REALLY REALLY REALLY good.

and they're here, on the forum, and they communicate. wow. pretty good, huh?
 
from my limited experiance with KA-BAR customer service, it was probably by far the best customer service i have ever encounterd, beyond just other knife makers, customer service in general!
 
I chipped the blade on my bk2 a few weeks after buying it and they replaced it. They even refunded the shipping.
 
Yep I have to say they are pretty outstanding. Had a minor incident that most companies wouldn't give you the time of day on but they went way out of the way to take care of me. I've only bought one other brand of knife since Feburary, an ESEE 4, cause the tweeners made me...
