It is an interesting design, but you should probably handle one before deciding. Those double rings may not be a comfortable fit if your hand is too wide or narrow. Also, depending on state and city, some prosecutors might view the rings as of like kind to metallic knuckles, making it illegal to carry. Furthermore, the "Secure-Ex" sheath is difficult to draw from under stress, being designed for retention rather than speed. Personally, I'd recommend something smaller and lighter for a neck knife. Fred Perrin created a LaGriffe design which has been licensed to many makers (Emerson, Spyderco, etc) and is thin enough to conceal under a shirt. Most people like the LaGriffe style a lot.
