I looked at them today and they look really nice ( like way too nice to cost a dollar ) so I started thinking maybe Victorinox produces them for the dollar store brand ?
So I really messed with is some more and I thought this is too good to be true, and I was really starting to think that it was made by victorinox.
But then I noticed the tang stamp on the knife which read

" APRIL FOOLS "

I was on the way out the door to the local Dollar Store.

Sometimes they have some decent deals, next time you go see if they have the " anti gravity pen " it's a decent pen for 1$ and it actually uses a pressurised ink stick.
It's obviously trying to be like the fischer space pen ( but it's not a copy or counterfeit or anything )

OP - I looked up "APRIL FOOLS" and I haven't been able to locate any information on this maker. Sounds Chinese to me, but the Chinese are making some decent products these days. I don't know, I think it's worth throwing a dollar bill down and trying one of these knives out. I'd be great to see a full pictured review....maybe perform some sweet feather sticks. Anywho, thanks for the heads up, I for one will be running, not walking, to a dollar store near me.

Have you seen the cutlerylover video where he was able to bend the parts and basically break it with his bare hands ? ( I believe it was titled the world's worst knife )
The dollar store multi function knife ( non Swiss made sak style knives ) was my first knife when I was 6 and it didn't last long at all.
A few years ago I was camping with a friend and I gave him one that my brother thought was too crappy, but he didn't want it and gave it back so I just threw it in the Fire😏

If I remember correctly, Dollar a General used to stock a couple Victorinoxes back in the day. I know Walgreens carried them too.

I have an American Camper SAK clone and a nearly identical one the wife received as swag that i have stashed in both cars w/i reach of driver. We've pulled them out for all kinds of tasks including opening wine bottles. Pretty stout little tools but not my EDC task knives either...
