It followed me home (Part 2)

knarfeng knarfeng is a good admin but for some reason it gives me the “heebeejeebees” when he has to reduce altitude for a bombing run.

The fresh looking ones were in my grandfather’s tool chest and the haggard one I picked up someplace. There are a couple more around here but nothing small.

Nice.
I've never even seen a perfect style in person I don't believe, not unless we're talking the yellow PROTO Betr grips ( I know a guy who'd argue they're the real perfects ) :D

If you had a haggard one, would you rehandle as is or leave as is?

Thanks for your work, and duly noted about the reporting. I will reiterate we really tried to be cool with the guy and incorporate him into the fold, but some people just can't keep cool. I wish him the best, who knows what's going on in his life that he's got that type of attitude, but I think we are all glad that it's over.

They are just like fitting an axe handle really. I have found two I think that are straight cross at the top and do not have a “tri-angle” (if you will) to them. You can just measure the angle and cut your stock but most have a specific angle, then the are curved and they are angled differently throughout. So the tap, shave, fit, repeat repeat repeat...... works best lol

@Travbud1 came through in a big way by hooking me up with this True-Temper camp set! It’s in exquisite condition with all components including both straps, the blade guard, and the original box.
It’s the CK1 model and was the larger of their sportsman camp sets. (Somewhere I was reading about 3 configurations they offered with a straight or curved handle axe etc.)

I’m really proud to add this to my collection, thanks again @Travbud1 !!!
That is a nice set!
I dated a set just like that to the early 60's because it was a gift and Christmas card was still in the box. No eye ridges.

If he's not in for it, and it's not claimed otherwise, Is like to throw my hat in the ring. I have not a Knot Klipper, and that would be *the* way to start.
Go for it. I gotta take it easy on purchases, just had some unexpected expenses.
