It followed me home (Part 2)

It's interesting that they felt the need to clarify that only the head was made in Sweden o_O

You know, I never thought I would own a Gransfors Bruks axe.
Their current stuff does not appeal to me, and their vintage stuff never even crossed my mind.

It seems like a perfectly fine tool, they obviously sourced the handles from a good likely American manufacturer.
The cheeks are flat, but the head obviously came finished well.

That looks like a nice vintage fire ax, probably meant to go on a truck as the stamp suggests. I'd use some wire wool to remove the rust on the head and I'd put some mineral oil on the haft and leave the rest of it alone. It is a beautiful example with a beautiful haft, I'd hang it on the wall and admire it, personally.

A guy on another forum is trying to ID this stamp on a Puget Sound double bit, I seem to recall hearing about a puget with a stamp on the bottom on here but I can't find it. Does anyone have any guesses? I wanna say Warren for some reason, but I have nothing to back that.

I wish you'd mentioned wanting a peavey, I've got the head of one floating around I would've given ya.
Funny thing is I was going to write to you about few items when I saw your post couple months back. For some reason Peavies, Log Dogs, Timber Slicks rarely pop up in my neck of the woods.
