As many of you are aware, my research of Imperial Schrade leads me into a lot of odd rabbit trails. The most recent involves Trademark #73122958 which issued November 28th, 1978. "Veri-Veri Sharp". It was registered to Imperial Knife Company, Inc., Providence, R.I.
Here is the example I found which uses several Imperial trademarks; Veri-Sharp, WondaWood, and has the WondaEdge serrations. Steel is described on the packaging as "High Carbon Solid Stainless Steel", hand honed with hollow ground edge. It is a 7" "Parer" knife (#224) and the blade is stamped along it's length "(crown) Imperial Veri-Sharp Stainless U.S.A."
I believe it has the Kresge (K-Mart) sticker, and original MSRP of 75 cents (plus tax where applicable).
Production was late 1970's to early-mid 1980's. Kitchenwares and tableware was big for them at that time. Imperial was the world's largest maker and supplier of stainless flatware.
