Jaguar balisongs

I think the black one might be a Jag. Follow the link to "Butterfly knives", and it brings you to the same pic, only with a $19.99 tag. I think that refers to the one in the middle and right. A pretty weak way to sell yer product, especially since you can get Jags for $15-$20. Also, why is the pic upside down?

The one on the left may be a real Jag. The one on the right is made by the same company who makes Jaguar if these are made in TaiWan. The wholesael cost on the 2 on the right is about $5 while the Jags cost between $10-$13.

Jaguar butterfly knives are made by Kantas, the same people who make many of my Dragon Forge knives and the 2 knives on the right in the pic.

I just received some China samples today and they will be about $5.00 on our site. Yes they are POS but for $5 it is a great practice knife for starters.

Question, sorry if it seems so simple, but I'm new in the world of the balisong. I collect tactical folders for the most part and don't know who makes a good balisong. Would you say a jaguar is a good and economical knife? Thanks -Will

I'll suppoert the Jag as a great starter knife, especially for someone on a buget. Cheap, and once you replace the pins, pretty durable. I'd say get a 42 if you know you want a user that will last a long time with out problems, but for a first knife, Jags are pretty good. Just my opinion. I have two, and will probably get a few more to mess up and add scales to, etc. Have fun, either way. E

This isn't about Jags but about the Cudeman I bought from Dawkind. I thought the green handle inserts are extremely ugly so I took them off. I'm in the process of creating new wood inserts from using maple. Maple is some hard &!@%, let me tell you! Anyway, when I get it done I'll take some pics and show you guys.

Also, I plan on repinning the Cudeman and sharpening both sides of the blade. When I'm done I'll have taken a cheap knife and turned it into a (hopeflly) pretty good custom blade. But it'll be different than my other nicer knives because it will be something I accomplished myself.
