Hi, I recently went to see the new James Bond film, and I'v been thinking for weeks what folding knife he uses to cut open his shoulder. I'v taken some screen shots below.

I've been trying to work this out for weeks! Perhaps we need to write a collective letter to the producers?!

So I messaged the James Bond page on Facebook... Still waiting for a reply. Does anyone else have any ideas of what this knife could be?

To figure this out, we should start by analyzing what we can:

1. blade spine appears relatively thick

2. drop point

3. good belly

4. appears flat ground (or maybe hollow)

5. thumb stud

6. Maybe 3" or so.

7. Steel-looking bolster with button on it (or the whole knife scale is metal, like a Mcusta). Upon studying, it looks like a bolster with a hint of ivory scale showing, but could be trick of lighting.

Please jump in and correct me where I'm off.

No thumb stud, (see pic 5). I think that's the pivot people are seeing. In the theater on a big screen you can clearly see that the knife has a nail-nick on the front half of the blade and no stud -- something like the one on this Fallkniven P:

...though it might be a slippie rather than a framelock. Have yet to find an actual Fallkniven that matches the one on-screen, but they have most of the qualifications.

I thought it looked a lot like the Buck Alpha Hunter but without a thumb stud.

However it doesn't really look like Bonds sort of knife...

Fellows, I know and when someone gets it right, I will let you in on the correct answer,,,,,He-Haw... I have no clue

Hey fellow bond fans, new BF member here. To me, it looked like a Boker SpeedLock II. Just my eyeballing though.
