I bought a Soyderco drunken and a microtech Dirac yesterday off of JKnigjt1. He didn't take post down and sold it to someone else. I haven't heard a peep back from him. Paid 300 for drunken and 200 for dirac

When I paid him for my transaction, he gave me the PayPal of his girlfriend… so I’m thinking there might be a chance he’s been hacked.

Edited to add: It appears he’s been using the other email for some time now. Hmm.

Don't ever use F&F and there is no need to know.

Googling the name or email can work if it's a known scammer like that.

It's tough with a dedicated scammer like this, this account was relatively new but had some good transactions with known members to build credibility before dropping the scam hammer...as kreole mentioned paying by G&S will protect you as the buyer and searching the seller's info can help as well.

I don't understand the setup at all! His account was created Oct 3, 2021 yet he already has 33 100% ratings? I'd think that would normally take years since many don't leave positive feedback during deals. But yet he's a scammer? Or does it mean a hacker took over someone else's legitimate account, gaining the password and pretending to be them? Any insight would be great, will help everyone be more protected.
