6 5/8" overall
2 3/4" blade
2 5/8" cutting edge (zero ground with a 3M Scotchbrite polished edge)
3/32" O1 steel

My impressions of this knife(disclaimer: I am not a wood worker or an experienced carver. I'm just a guy who likes to whittle big sticks into smaller sticks and recently started trying to whittle those sticks into spoon shaped objects)
1) Let's get this out of the way. I Really like this knife.
2) The WoodKarver is bomb-proof. It's a hefty piece of O1 steel/micarta and is rock solid. The O1 holds an edge very well and was easy to strop back into shape after carving.
3) The grip is comfortable. It's a simple symmetrical grip, but it feels good in hand. The canvas micarta provides excellent grip, while allowing the hand to move freely during subtle grip changes.
4) It is an interesting design. The blade shape provides a lot of utility in carving and is very easy to use. The height of the blade (~1/2" from edge to spine) allows the knife to make tight turns while carving and the zero ground edge makes a smooth transition and allows the blade to move freely in the wood. This knife removes wood like termites on crack, yet offers a great amount of control.
5) I like the simple Kydex pocket sheath. It is a convenient way to protect the edge from damage when not in use. I also found it to ride very comfortably in my back pocket with my wallet.

Prepping the materials.

It's always good to have responsible supervision when using a sharp instrument.

The final product of my efforts.

That`s a great looking spoon, and an even better looking supervisor. Nice job!
