In the continuing drama that is Discovery Channel’s survival series, the plot is thickening...and becoming more bizarre. I guess I can't link the article, but it appears Teti is suing Hawke and several others for defamation (and causing him to lose sponsors like TOPS). Hawke has secured a restraining order against Teti in Texas due to stalking allegations. I didn’t realize this, but Hawke was Teti’s commander from what I read.

I actually liked Hawke’s show with his wife. He seemed funny and not full of himself, and Ruth was very likable as well. He’d probably make a great co-host with Cody. But, then I guess there wouldn’t be enough soap opera drama, just entertaining survival-craft television.

The Lord only knows what’s next with this saga…:hopelessness:
 
I have lost all respect for both people. Both claim to be Pro's but a real pro would of kept his mouth shut. I understand Hawke exposing Teti but once it was exposed Hawke should of backed out of the scene & let the higher ups handle it. Both people are only it it for the fame & glory....
 
You'll think that after the Dave Cantertbury fiasco Discovery networks would've done a better job of scrutinizing Teti's credentials. I don't care much for Teti myself. Thought Dave was a better woodsman. Hawke could just be grabbing at straws since all his shows have been cancelled and it doesn't look like he is landing any gigs. That's the problem with temporary fame. When it's over they'll trample over each other to have it back.
 
Never liked Teti from the start, he comes across half crazy.

Actually liked Hawke's show and have talked with him some through Facebook, decent enough guy, a little quick to get worked up over stuff, had to eventually stop following his FB page, because he just would not stop harping about Teti and it got old.
 
Now the game is afoot surely the court will subpoena the relevant documents. One of them plays a crap game of brinkmanship and blows his brains out in shame, the other gets a belly laugh. I hope the right one gets the nod, just 'cos.
 
Teti has now put himself in a postion he'll finally have to produce his DD214 and NG22 since his bluff will be called.
 
Teti and Hawke both have repeatedly referred to the time when Hawke was his commander...............
 
That's interesting. I would see if I can find when is the court date and show up for it. Might be interesting way to spend an afternoon or morning..
