I really like the work Jukka Hankala has been doing. While he certainly knows how to make a classic puukko, I much prefer his adaptations.
These are the Ikari - a good general hunting blade, albeit on the hefty side - and the Tuhkuri - his hand-forged creation.
And a close-up of the Tuhkuri:
Somehow, he manages to take the usual curly birch handle, and very subtly improves its shape. It fits into the hand better than any of my other puukkos. The blade is just enough different from classic, at least for my tastes.
I foresee more of his work in my hands over the coming years.
