Juma "Exotic" Handle Material

I've used it... It's basically a type of plastic. Machines well and polishes up nice, just don't get it too hot but seems to have a higher melting temp than say kydex iirc

I have used it. A knife I made with the blue Juma sold within a day at a local store. It's easy to use. My one complaint is that when I cut out the scales on a band saw the "dust" from the cutting obscured the line I was following and got over everything. It was very messy to cut out on my band saw.
If you don't mind plastic, it makes an attractive handle.

Thanx for the input.
We now have a Canadian distributor so I think I will give it a try.
Seems like some the "younger generation" like these bright handles.
A little variety won't hurt.

It’s a very soft material if you are used to working with micarta or g10, I’d say it sands faster than g10, most of my knives I can finish the handle entirely on the grinder, with juma I break the corners then do the old shoe shine with 120 grit paper then polish from there, it buffs nicely after 400-600 grit.

I've used it a couple of three times. Didn't much care for it. Just more of a natural materials on a handle kind of guy I guess.

I've used it and like it very much. Works easy and polishes up nice. Some have been for custom orders and others have sold on Face Book in just a few minutes.

Hey guys...thanx for sharing the pics. Beautiful knives! Also like how you added wood on the handle Lucius.

Got my order in about a week ago of different colors, including the orange one both of you made.

Looking forward to try it out.

Thanx!
