So I am in Greenville SC on business. Last night I checked the dealer locator
in WR Case's website. It turns out there was a dealer just down the road from where I am staying.
I drove by and the store front must have said "Case Knives" a dozen times in numerous signs of numerous sizes.
When I walked in I was greeted by an older southern gentleman and a nice lady who was perhaps his daughter.
I have never seen so many Case knives in one place in my life! It turns out that they are a Platinum Select Case dealer. He said they may have one of the largest selection and inventory in the whole US. I don't know if that is true but it has to be close.
He had dozens of Case display cases plus entire 25 foot long aisles of displays filed with Case knives.
He also had some other brands (Hen & Rooster) but it was mostly (90%) Case.
All the store sold was men's hats, knives and other Case/Zippo collectables.
He was so nice and his selection was huge so I thought I would mention my visit here on BF's.
He had an entire revolving case just of tiny toothpicks! Another with just baby butterbeans.
I am sure he had at least one of every current Case pattern in every available scale material. He had a ton of collectables and a half dozen Case/Bose knives!
So I felt I needed to give this nice man a little business since he was so hospitable. Naturally I had to buy another knife I don't really need; I guess my nephew is going to have a pretty impressive collection when I give him some knives.
I picked up a nice CV redbone peanut! She is purty!
