Great pic of the 55, hamsco! I have that exact same model, it was my first GEC. It's also one of my favorites, they feel great in hand. For some reason I've never been able to capture that red correctly in photos, nice job. Like the arrowhead too.

I agree, fine in hand pattern. The shield is I think, an attempt at a Houndstooth though. Also seen on the Forum 14 knife.

Yes Alan, that cover material is what Case calls 6.5 bone stag. It's one of their best IMO.

I used to hate the idea of a liner lock and now I think they are wonderful. I have a 55, but passed on one with a liner lock back before I knew better

Would LOVE to see a harness jack with a liner lock on the punch. Maybe this could be Charlie's #11?
