Just in from Larry Chew! A first!

Well, after much cajoling, I got Larry to try a trapdoor type of release on a Cujo he was building for me. Here is the result. The workmanship is beautiful, but I think had I chosen something other than carbon fiber, the button would have been more hidden. Larry said he want through a fair amount of CF trying to get a match, but it wasn;t in the cards. Anyway, the knife is his Cujo, 440V, front and rear bolsters using Mike Norris "gator skin" Damascus, blue jeweled liners (no filework), and the trapdoor CF button. I'll probably be carrying this, but I did not want a pocket clip, as I will use a sheath on this behemoth. My digital camera did not do justice to the Damascus bolsters.

Great way to conceal the firing button.
