Ka-Bar Becker BK2 Review

Its one of my 5 and under length blades I use. I had to put Dogwood Custom's Fire Fly handles on it to keep me from loosing the one I use mostly! Really if you use your BK 2 those handles are about between micarta and the "Grivory" ones and the glowing helped me find that dang knife over half a dozen time...er a lot of times! Even when I thought I packed it a lost it in the field and found it glowing in my dumb little car where it fell out of the "pack". For the price it saved me from getting replacement knives. Its cool how the glow through the snow looks...um that's just an example...

finding things by unique color varies by seaons and regions

where i'm at, in fall, anything red orange yellow green pink ... might as well have it be black in a coal mine or white in the artic

browns are not great

indigo violet... fuschias... sometimes those are a factor

but blue...

it's reported to me that when flying in small planes and helos, that "tarp blue" is the easiest color EVER to see

though, again, seasons and regions... winter - blue doesn't work well with ice and snow, or the water...

now, if we could put beacons in our knives, and leds to make them pulse (like Tile)... we got a winner?

smart handles! (tm) (r) (s) (c) (fu) (etc)

i've tried glow in the dark twine attached to the lanyard holes. didn't work so well. i don't know if it just didn't soak up enough light during the day or what.
a lot of kid's toothbrushes have blinking leds in the handle. you could take one apart and try to install it in the scales somehow. hollow out the scales for the batteries?
if you figure it out, I'll only take 30% of the profits.
