As right now, im looking at the Ka-Bar USMC and the Ka-Bar turok, which would be better for combat/survival and how do they compare to the becker bk 9 and becker bk 7

BK9 > BK7 > TUROK > USMC

There's a reason the BK9 is called the 'King'.
"You cannot not have a 9."
Though it's larger size and 9" blade may hinder it's role as a 'fighter'.

The BK7 was designed to be more of a 'soldier's knife' though it's 7" blade and longer clip point hinders batoning tasks.

The Turok's 6.25" blade would probably make a better 'fighter' but the swedge and thinner tang limit 'survival' performace.

The USMC's stick tang is a liability for 'survival' tasks.

What do you think "combat/survival" means? What tasks does a knife do during "combat/survival"?

Maybe if you can tell us that we can help you better.

You're not going to fight with this knife, so get what you feel is practical (or fun) for the woods use you'll be putting it through. I like the bk9 a lot, though its heavy enough that I don't love the idea of carrying it too far. The bk7 is a bit lighter, I'd personally prefer that, as 7 inches has been plenty of blade for me in the woods.

The turok is a nice looking knife, but that swedge and handle don't speak to practicality much. The USMC is good, but the stick tang could potentially (though probably not) be an issue, and the top guard tends to get in the way.

Overall I'd recommend the 7, then 9, then usmc, then turok.

While I agree with all of the above, I feel everyone should own a USMC just because.

I find the BK-9 a bit too large for regular carry in the woods. Hence, I chose the BK-7 even though it isn't quite as good a chopper as a "9". Never cared for the USMC utility knife due to its stick tang and general design. Not familiar with the other blade. For choppers, I tend to go larger than the BK-9. The BK-7 would be high on my personal list of "survival knives" that I own given I needed to carry one.

The ka-bar combat knives I relegate to "trophy knives". Very, fast, very good balance, choose them over a FS knife anyday.

But they are delicate compared to the bk7 and bk9

Two very different things and a very broad perspective at that - could you tell us in more detail, what you'd use the knives for?

I would get a BK2... they are a tank of a knife. But the thing I dislike about both knife companies is their sheaths... the edge bumps into the plastic when carrying and will dull it.

MY custom BK2 stripped with added soft cross jimping. Maple handles, a sheath that's able to be adjusted scout/cross draw/ side dangle (w/ legstrap straps). Sheath has a bk13 piggy backed
Clicks into its kydex (only the handle shows. A magnesium/ferrocerium combo rod , jute twine wrap and a pouch with a stone e and the key to take off the handles for cleaning.

The options on adjusting the leather is amazing!!
