Ka-Bar Kollector Klub Knives 1976-2005

Nuto, I can't see the photos for some reason!! Looks like an incredible collection, wish I could see the pics!! Of course you know all the folding knives were made by Queen not KA-BAR. By the way, I have a lot of the original collectors club newsletters with all the advertising for those knives.

Yes sorry about that Gunsil photobucket hijacked all photo's and holding for ransom will get all new photo's but need 3 days straight with the amount of knives, and yes as you stated all folders where done by both Queen and Case with Kabar having control on quantity and quality(Note some Materials where from Ka-Bar as with some of the Sambar Stag as left over material from the 1950's and 1960's), the news letters where the best part of assisting me in getting collection together and appreciate everyone's patience in this Thread as every time I thought I had all knives came up missing another. Hope all well with you and yours Gunsil and a happy holiday and a healthy New Year

1979 #9 in Series 1 of 500

The 2nd knife of 1979 is a Giant Jack or Jackknife with genuine stag handle's and stag seems to be a popular handle material on alot of the early knive's as all can tell. 1979 saw the release of 6 club knive's and was the 1st year of the Yearly CK Knive's (see Yearly CK Knive's Post) for more photo's.

Is the MOP Canoe made in the USA?

So I have a knife that was a specialty KA BAR that was made for my uncle, (William Manchester) and his service in WW II. The manufacturer out of Olean NY said that it was made in the 80’s for the American History Foundation. I’m trying to do a little family research on it, (all of the men in our family served in USMC) and looking for any assistance that someone may be able to provide? How to I attach photos of it so I can possibly get more information?
