Two very similar styles, one True Sharp stainless $30 the other AUS-6 stainless. I like the Ka-bar look better but I am not sure about the steel.

I don't think in use you will see much difference between Case True Sharp (420HC) and Ka-Bar's AUS-6.

If it's important to you, the Ka-Bar is made in Tiawan where the Case is USA made.

I bought a case Finn3 this summer and am very pleased with it. Don't shy away because of the steel, it preforms well. The little knife has done all I have ask of it around camp, and it's US made!

Something about a Ka-Bar knife being made over seas seems very wrong to me.

I have and love a knife from Seki Japan. I am not sure about Taiwan. Then again the Case is almost twice as much as the Ka-Bar.

I am a fan of the little finn. Handy sized and sharp little sucker. Years ago, they were Japanese made, and the Ka-Bar logo was stamped into the blades. The pommel had much less sheen as did the blade. The newer, Taiwanese models, are very high polished, and are still of excellent quality.
