Kabar grind lines

That's about what you can expect for a $50-$70 knife these days. I'm not going to say "sadly" as it just is what it is. Improved quality and finish costs money.

In my experience, while the grind may be a bit rough, the integrity of kabar knives is very good. In short, you may have to monkey with the edge, but the blade will be sound.

Can you please check if your knife is straight? On last pic down there it looks slightly bent or warped to the right side on the tip. It could be just a camera flaw tho, but I'd check anyways.

Happens sometimes. Wish it didn’t but large scale production combined with hand ground is tough sometimes.

If you’re not happy send it in.
