Keep her, gift her or destroy her, the rules are simple, a variation of social media driven game of a more adult nature involving, well never mind, like I said the rules are very simple.

You're given a box containing 3 knives, those 3 knives will be determined by the last person to answer the question. Upon opening the box you see three knives and a note. The note reads: You must dispose of these three knives in one of three ways, 1 must be given away, one must be destroyed and one must be kept by you.

Now because it's a game you can pick any three knives you want to have the next person choose from after you've answered from your choices. There's a lot of little nuances to this game, the closer in value the choices the harder people think about their answers. For example if you were to have to pick from an Al Mar Osprey, Spyderco Para Military or a Leatherman Wave or as ridicules as a Jarbenza, RAT 2 folder or a Custom Todd Davidson folder. Which would you keep, trash and give away. See what I mean about how easy or hard the choices can be, so long as it has a blade it's fair game, swords, bayonets what ever you can think of, I'll start.

Large Plain Jane Sebenza 21

Spyderco Lum

Zero Tolerance 0900

As always, pictures are welcome and in most cases helpful.

Sweet! I'll go first.
Keep the Sebenza
Gift the ZT
Destroy the Lum

I love Spyderco but the Lum is just not appealing to me enough in this scenario.

The 3 I submit for the next poster:
Spyderco PM2 S110V
ZT0452 Carbon Fiber
Strider SNG

Keep the Spyderco S110V, as a user this one will get more honest use.
Gift the Strider, impress a non-knife person, and be tough for rough use.
Trash the ZT, it is common enough and not outstanding among the three.

Now,
Lionsteel SR-1

- Keep the Hi-Jinx to see what the fuss is about. (As long as it is the Ti and Sleipnir version)
- Gift the Lionsteel
- Trash the Maximus since daggers aren't legal here.

My 3 for the next in line:

CPK EDC in 4V
Benchmade 710 in M4
GEC 38 Whittler (your choice in cover material)

Keep the Benchmade. Never owned one before, and would like to get a feel on what makes Benchmade so popular.

Give away the GEC. Traditionals aren't my thing, so they'll be given away even if they were the most expensive thing on earth.

Trash the CPK. Totally no need for fixed blades in my lifestyle.

My turn now:
Gerber Airlift (any color of choice)

This looks like it has the making of a fun thread, thanks guys, in the case of a duplicate answer by 2 or more members first time stamp wins and chooses the next 3.

I'm up.

Keep the Gerber. It'll function fine as a glove-box or tackle-box knife.

Give the 7074. Not to friends or family, but maybe a coworker who could use a decent knife.

Trash that Schrade. Doubt I need to explain.

As for the next 3:

Hinderer Maximus

Rockstead Higo

Keep the Rockstead. Always wanted to see what the fuss was about.

Break the Tighe. Sorry fellas: I just can't love 'em.

Gift the Maximus. Even if it's a no-go for carry, the next person can send it on to a new home.

Hmm. Let's go with the pocket fixed blade lineup, for a change of pace.

ESEE Izula

Keep the field knife (no explanation needed) , give away the hawk (not my style), break the TGLB (I don't like fullers).

Southern Grind Spider Monkey (carbon fiber), Northwoods Hawthorne Jack (camel bone), and Dozier Modifed Personal (ironwood)

Southern Grind Spider Monkey (carbon fiber), Northwoods Hawthorne Jack (camel bone), and Dozier Modifed Personal (ironwood)

Keep: the Dozier. One of my first nice knives was a Dozier and I lost it something like 18 years ago—still miss it. Another Dozier would bring at least a little closure.

Gift: the Northwoods. Who wouldn't want a Hawthorne Jack? Beautiful traditional and also people friendly, so perfect for a gift.

Destroy: the Southern Grind. Sorry Zac Brown, I'm not a country fan. And the Spider Monkey just doesn't do it for me aesthetically.

Next up:

From left to right: Boye Knives folder in dendritic cobalt, vintage Kershaw Macho, and Spyderco Lil' Nilakka.

Keep the Kershaw ( interesting knife to try out )
Gift the boye ( my dad would love it )
Destroy the spyderco

Marbles / imicasa 18" blade machete

Shcrade usa 33OT middleman jack

Mora 711 all-round

Bust the machete- No real reason other than it lost out to the other two.
Gift the Jack- Everyone should be given a pocket folder at some point in their life.
Keep the Mora- It's a FREAKING Mora! Sometimes I feel guilty for spending so much on knives when 99.9% of my tasks can (and have been) handled with a Mora.

My Turn:

Condor Kukri kukri.jpg
Bark River Bravo with antique ivory micarta bravo.jpg

Spyderco Kiwi 4 kiwi.jpg

Enjoy!

Keep the Kukri(I need a good value beater for the Yard)

Gift away the Bark River, those are pieces of art and could potentially like and be used by anyone, knife nut or not

Destroy the Kiwi, looks to flimsy and weak

Next ones:
Spyderco Pacific Salt
BM Mini Grip
Cold Steel Recon 1

Not familiar with said knife, but the Al mar knives I've seen looked classy so I'd keep it
Gift the spyderco for someone to beat on

Destroy the ZT with a cut off wheel, sledge hammer, and blow torch.
Leatherman fuse
Victorinox classic
Stanley 99-E utility knife

Spyderco Pacific Salt - Keep this one, I've thought about getting one
BM Mini Grip - Gift it, I'm not a Grip lover but it is a good solid knife
Cold Steel Recon 1 - Not like it is terrible but between a CS and a BM the CS gets the hammer
