Kershaw Nura 3.5 pros and cons?

While generally a fan of Kershaw, I was not impressed. Seemed cheaply made, which was disappointing as I was rather excited about the knife. I never carry mine.

I'm with HD on the Nura. Seemed sub-par for Kershaw. I'd get the Strobe instead.

And..the Strobe is one of my very favorite Kershaws, especially for the money. It's like the anti-Nura - much better quality feel than the price would suggest. Solid.

There was a reason that the Nura and the Strobe were only made for about 18 months, and it wasn't to make them collectible...

Flips real bad, only opens half way, and the satin finish on the scales scratch very easily. I got rid of mine as fast as I got it.

I had one for a while, too. Failed to lock up constantly. I sent it back to Kershaw and they couldn't fix it, so I ended up with a Grid instead, which I like much better. I hear the Fatback is pretty nice, too, if you're looking to trade it out.

I like the Kershaw Nura 3.5, it's a great introduction to bearings in a folding knife. It's not the smoothest, but it's not the worst when it comes to bearings. For the price its pretty good.
