Should I be worried about this grind and send it back? (Look at the picture below)
One side is slightly shorter or longer than the other.
I just received it a few days ago.
It has leaves an unusual tip where the grind can be uneven when you look at it from the top of the spine.
Although only noticeable if you look in detail.
I'm sort of anal about my knives.
First time this happened to me. My Kershaw Chill never had this problem, nor did my other Spydercos.

It's very common in pretty much all knives and more so in production. Your issue is rather minor compared to some knives I have or have seen. Truthfully though nothing is wrong and its not a worry, use it and enjoy.

Try using a hard straight edge next time you anal-yse it. Your readings might not be what they appear to be right now. :)

When you start using your knives little things like this won't bug you so much.

I didn't mean that in any derogatory way.

I guess I'm not worthy of being a member of this forum. Cuz honestly man, I would of never...ever....ever noticed that. :D

I am not trying to be disrespectful , but are you kidding, because I am as anal as the next guy on this forum and I would have never even approached checking anything like that, so my answer is , you should absolutely not be concerned. About the knife that is :D

Thank you Dave!! You have given me fresh hope as to my worthiness on this forum! :D

No offense intended, just my opinion on this subject in general. I'm not sure how to take these threads anymore. On one hand, people seem to buy a $30 knife and expect Sebenza style attention to detail and quality. Comments like, "should I be worried?" don't make these things easier to take seriously. I sure hope you don't own a micrometer or any digital calipers.

Don't give him any ideas. An inspection with that equipment would ruin his whole week. :D

You guys are nuts:D. I would never have noticed something like the grind being about 1/16th of an inch off from the other side.

Haha! You make an excellent point :)
I would say that this thread ended up being a lot more civil than what I had pictured.
Well, here is the key to all this (for me at least). Being aggressive and insulting doesn't constitute a good environment to learn in. I figure all of us stand to learn more and more as we go further down the knife path. There is a big difference between being mean and being honest, sometimes people can forget the 2 are not the same thing.

Very wise words Rev. I know that I shared many a stupid thoughts and concerns here about a year ago. It is mind boggling how much I have learned from this place.

Most of my ignorance was centered around the esee forum. Damn I made some stupid threads. :D
