This tan Shuffle 2 arrived with some other stuff from BladeHQ. I needed this opener and couldn't resist the stout and robust small knife that came with it. The blade is breathtakingly sharp and pointy. The kind of edge that could cut you without you even noticing it until you saw the wound. That sharp. So I closed the blade before I opened the icy bottle of Drop Top Amber Ale. It took a couple tries for the opener to grip and flip the cap but it worked.
I photographed it on an old long distance shot of the scary, oh so shear drop steep narrow dirt/gravel, road up to Hat Point which overlooks the Snake River canyon separating Eastern Oregon from Western Idaho way way down below. Apparently a cowboy lost his hat there at that windy place long ago so the name. The horse trailer/pickup vs the SUV/canoe are about to meet at a blind corner. Rules of the road in Oregon dictate that the downhill vehicle back up until the uphill vehicle can get bye. I couldn't watch their meeting with the sheer cliff above and the near vertical drop below. I did see Mountain Goats at the top, rangers put out salt licks, however. A trip for the crazy brave IMHO.
