I picked one up on Thursday. It is a small liner lock with a can opener built into the back of the handle. It's a nice take on the smaller Victorinox knives with just a blade and a can opener. For $15.50, it is a great little knife for environments where you don't want some thing large.

Just curious, what is the blade steel on this knife, normally it is 8Cr13MoV on Chinese Kershaws, but for this one it is stated 3Cr13MoV (info from KAI website) is it really so or it is mistake in specs, also there is no steel stated on the blade itself as it is normally done

Pretty sure its 8rc13mov, probably a typo on KAI website. I like to refer to BladeHQ's specs because I have found them to be the most accurate.

The packaging says 8Cr13MoV which is what BladeHQ was going by. Kai and the blade itself say 3Cr13, so it's 3Cr13.

Damn, I wanted one too! 3cr is a bit too not good enough for me. Bladehq is slowly loosing my trust....

As I said, it's not totally their fault, the Shuffle's packaging actually DOES say 8Cr13MoV. When I bought my Shuffle, that's what I was expecting(I hadn't read up on it online, I saw it for sale, know Kershaw's budget knives are generally great, know they usually use 8Cr13, so assumed this was too), so I was a bit surprised when I saw the 3Cr13 stamp on the blade itself. Not sure how that got by without being noticed, but there you go.

I bought mine at GPK, and their website says 8Cr13Mov. That makes this little knife a keeper for sure!

Read what has already been posted. The packaging itself says 8Cr13MoV. This has caused several websites to INACCURATELY list it as such. Kai themselves say it is 3Cr13, and that is what is stamped on the blade. The website is wrong, your knife will be 3Cr13, same as everyone else's. Websites listing it as 8Cr13MoV are simply listing it based on the incorrect packaging.

There is no steel grade marking of any kind on my Shuffle.

the same with me, no steel grade printed on the blade

It's in small print, in a text color that kinda blends in with the metal, very, very close to handle at the end of the blade. Check both sides, and look closely.

I looked as hard as I could but it seems there is absolutely no such text on my Shuffle

Why does yours have 8700 on it? Mine has 3800 in the place yours has 8700. Isn't it model number 3800? Also mine has no 3cr anywhere on it.

Its model 8700 on some sites, and these seem to be the ones without the marks on the the blade to denote the steel. Was 3800 an earlier run, maybe?
