Does anyone know which of the Kershaw Shun Elite knives have a blade of SG-2 powder steel instead of kid-tested/mother-approved VG-10? Thanks.

Here is a list of SG2 Elite knives that are currently available:

SG0405 - 10" Chef
SG0400 - 3 1/2" Paring
SG0401 - 4 1/2" Wide Cooks Knife
SG0402 - 5" Steak Knife
SG0408 - 6" Boning
SG0409 - 6" Utility
SG0403 - 6 1/2" Santoku
SG0404 - 8" Chef
SG0406 - 8" Bread
SG0407 - 9 1/2" Slicer

There are also misc. sets (Block, Steak Knives etc.). There may be an exclusive knife of 2 out there as well.

Here is a link that shows off some of them:

Let me know if you need any more info.

Are the SG0404 and SG0405 Chef knives drool resistant?

Thanks for the link!

Oh holy moly! Even the Santoku is painfully gorgeous!

My not-as-dumb question after drool-resistance is:

Are the Chef and Santoku knives double-bevelled or single-bevelled? If they're single-bevelled, I'm willing to learn to be right-handed. If they're double-bevelled, I'm willing to go broke but not learn a new skill.
