I emailed Kershaw an was disappointed to find out that they do not know what different versions of the Skyline they have made.

Can anyone help? I know I'm missing identifying a few, but here's what I have researched so far. I am grouping them by handle color.

1760: Black G10, satin finish (unknown quantity)
BW: Black G10, blackwash blade (unknown quantity, currently in production)
CKT: Black G10; matte black blade (unknown quantity; S&R Knives)
DAM: Black G10, Damascus blade (originally 600, another run produced)
S30VCF: Black Carbon Fiber, satin blade (unknown quantity, at least 179 made, currently in production)
S30VBCF: Black Carbon Fiber, matte black blade (unknown quantity, at least 179 made, currently in production)

BFC: Blue G10, stonewash finish, S30V (500 estimated, at least 444 made, Blade Forums Exclusive)
BLBW: Blue G10, blackwash (211 made)
BLSW: Blue G10, stonewash (Blade HQ exclusive, 64 made)

BRNCKT: Tan G10, matte black finish (unknown quantity)

CKTOR: Orange G10, matte black finish (unknown quantity)
OR: Orange G10, satin finish (unknown quantity, clamshell only)

RD: Red G10, satin finish (unknown quantity)
RDSO: Red G10, satin finish, Snap-On emblem on blade (unknown quantity)
RDSW: Red G10, stonewash finish (unknown quantity)

NG10: Translucent Jade G10, says stone-wash, not sure if stonewash or satin (unknown quantity)*
NG10BLK: Translucent Jade G10, matte black finish (unknown quantity)*

The Snap-On one is technically not a different knife, but I included it since it's common. I know there are a few others out there with special blade etchings and made in very short runs. Not including the Flytanium editions since they are not 100% Kershaw factory editions.

*I am searching to buy this particular knife and whatever else is out there which I haven't discovered. Thanks!

Thanks! It's a little outdated, but it did have one I wasn't tracking. I'm hoping some other hard core fans chime in. Not necessarily looking for versions with special laser etching (Ducks UnLTD, Snap-On, etc.) unless the steel or scales are different.

I suggest you respond to that thread as well so that it brings it to the fore and other subscribers may chime in.

Kershaw knows exactly how many. Someone's either being lazy or politely declining to answer.

CF: Black Carbon Fiber, satin blade
Shouldn't this be S30VCF?

The S30VCF and S30VBCF are BladeHQ exclusives in S30V satin and black blades, respectively.

CKT is G10 and matte black blade and an S&R Knives exclusive.

Travis - where I come from, polite includes being honest. I really hope no one was lying to me.

Thanks for the feedback. I've updated the list. I wish Kershaw wouldn't make most of these so limited!

I've been lucky and I've managed to hunt down all but the 1760RD and the 3 blue handle versions. Anyone with those, please let me know. Does anyone know if Kershaw is going to make a new edition? I'd like to see some bright green G10.

Would love to see a pic of all of the Skylines together :D

We do not do any business in the discussion forums. We have a "Wanted to Buy" forum in the Exchange where you can start a thread about what knives you're looking for. Thanks

I Think I've got an almost complete collection now, with the exception of the Ducks etched blade version, along with a couple of customs I've picked up along the way. I really should take a good pic and post it for the Skyline fans out there.

Darthrya, I think your list is complete if you're not looking to include any of the printed blade specials like the 40th Anniversary or First Production knives. I'll check to make certain when I get home to my knives, lol.

Your missing a few one offs, ducks unlimited, woodland camo, and digicam, I know one persons with the woodland camo, I may have the other two 0:). Also the first 500 say first production on the blade.

There is a blade show 2015 I think. You need to contact sticktodrum he probably knows what the real list is.

Thanks. That's what I'm thinking too. I look at five criteria for the list:

1. Type of steel
2. Type of finish
3. Material of handle
4. Color of handle
5. Must be mass-produced and publicly for sale

Any unique combination of 1-4 with 5 meets my criteria. I'm not looking at the special etchings because they are essentially the same knife.

Now, the 1760RDSO might go on the list if I find the 1760RD is a myth. The reason is it has a satin blade, and it might be the only red handle with that finish.

Please send a photo of all of yours with the product numbers! It would make a nice visual guide!

Funny... that one appears to be very tough to find. I think it might because it was their first S30V?

It was the first with s30v and a flat grind instead of the hollow. Are the new CF ones are flat ground as well?

Yes, the Blade HQ CF models are High Flat Grind. They're also the first Skylines that have been serialized.

Is there a rumor of a Blade Show 2015 Skyline? Is that what someone else said somewhere? Someone started a thread here about an "ISO Limited Edition Kershaw Skyline" but it got moved to where I can't see it, so I have no idea what that might be about.

I'm sure there will be some other Special Edition Skylines this year, just last year they had the two CF versions, the 40th Anniversary version and I think the 1760CKTOR was 2014 also.
