So I ourchased a Strobe in 2015 and I hated the scales it came with, the shape didn't feel right in my hand, so I promptly removed them. Otherwise I really like the knife. I own much more expensive stuff but this knife is in that inexpensive but cool category for me.
So I periodically thought about making my own scales for it until a few months ago when I decided to take on the project. I put in a few hours a day modeling the knife in solidworks until I had everything just right. I finally have a finished CNC machined G10 scale and this is my first attempt at producing something knife related.
I've been looking at this for so long, a few hours a day for the past 9-10 weeks, that I am worried I have lost my impartiality.
TL;DR
what do you think of my custom scales, and do you have any suggestions?
