key chain ring on my Spirit

I love my Spirit, but I hate that it doesnt have a keychain ring on it. I like the idea of attaching my car keys and a micro photon LED light to it and am really frustrated that I cant.

Any solutions ?
 
I'd attach accessories to the pouch so as not to encumber the tool.

Or, you could rig up some sort of lanyard to the little hole on one side or the other that could be detached easily.
 
Spirit has an "official" lanyard hole. There are actually 2, one of them is supposedly a corkscrew attachment point. You can attach either a lanyard or a ring with lanyard to one of those (It does make it more awkward to slip it into and out of the the sheath)
