Really like the design and shape of the blade,classic tactical working knife with highest quality.
 
Any update on this release? I'm checking the normal sellers multiple times a day so I don't miss out and still no one has any in stock.

Nice...Will there be a Vanguard version of this knife??? Would like to see a Stonewashed or Satin blade also. :)

It is possible. Kizer is looking for more Vanguard designs and we are working through some designs specifically for Vanguard. We will see pretty soon, I would think.
 
Just received my Escort... Nice knife, but it has a really weak detent. Barely flips and I can shake the blade out of the handle. Anyone else get one yet? How's your detent?
 
I think my detent is perfect. I've tried shaking it out and can't get it to. It definitely flips better after a few days of flipping. I like that I can open the blade slowly by pinching the fuller and using two hands. Try that with a zt! Impossible on my zt 0909! I was flipping the Escort while laying down today and it flipped perfectly from every angle! Really really love this blade!

My only complaint with Kizer has been a couple of weak detents, although I don't have an Escort (yet). I guess it can happen with any knife. You might want to contact your retailer and see about swapping it for another one?

Inconsistent detents is my biggest worry about Kizer; I have an Intrepid with a perfect detent, and an I.F.T-L that has weaker blade retention and is a light-switch only flipper.
 
I just got my Escort today and I love it! The knife has awesome ergos, flip great and locks solidly. It's gonna spend a lot of time in my pocket. Really nice design and execution Dirk and Kizer.

I'd love this knife with a stonewashed blade and a carbon fiber presentation-side scale! **wink-wink, nudge-nudge**

First off, Thank you! I think Kizer really did a great job on the Escort!:cool:

Second, I have been talking to Kizer about offering multiple finishes. They seemed to like the idea but, haven't confirmed if they are moving forward. We should know soon. As far as a CF scale, I think that look good! With enough talk, they might start offering limited customization on certain models.
