Recently while i was getting out of a friends car, my kzier's clip got snagged on a hole in the leather seat, and it just snapped!!! It is a fully ti clip, and while i know a lot of force was put on it from me getting out, does anyone know if i can get it replaced? And if anyone has ever taken the clip off and/or put it back on, what tools did you use, because Kizers knife (at least this one) does not have a torx compatible pivot screw thanks!!!

(This is a pic prior to the accident...)

Just contact kizer, they'll send you a new one. As far as the pivot, an Allen wrench should fit, if not use a flat head.

Shouldn't have to take the pivot apart to get the clip off, it should have it's own Torx screw I believe, unless that model is different than all my Kizers.

I'm sure they'll take care of you if you email them.

Some Kizer pivots fit a large HEX head, most of the ones I have are round in the center. A wide thin blade screwdriver works fine if you are slow and careful. Yours looks like it would take a HEX in the center of the spokes.

Hi, Blademaniac10913:

Please PM me or email me.

Thanks.

Kizer.

^I'm so impressed by your presence on the forum, such great customer service!

I sent an email concerning a problem with mine too, but no response. It's not a problem with the clip, but the very uneven grind when comparing both sides of the blade. It's so uneven that the spine looks crooked.

Hi, gooeytek:

I sent you a PM. I apologize for the lack of answer on the email, I'll go back and check the filter to see if that caught it.

Thanks.

Kizer.
