Has anyone ever heard of or know anything about them? Some guy at work (who BTW I'm so into ) ask me if I could sharpen a knife for him. I'm thinking sure anything for you cutie. :D So I tell him yes. He brings me the knife which I'm not sure what but it needs a lot of work. The main blades says Klein Tools Chicago USA and the other blade is like a razor type. It also has a loop thing on the handle. Well anyway after days of working on it I just finished it. I got most of the rust off, it closes and opens a lot easier, and its razor sharp, but anyway is it worth anything? Thanks everyone.

My tool bag has several klein tools in it including a pair of their electricians scissors and a cat 5 stripper. if their other tools are any indication their knives should be pretty good. i had no idea they even made pocket knives until now.

this chicago co. makes the finest tools available for the electrical industry. as usual the enclopedic memory of Esav has hit it on the head. i beleive that man [Esav] never misses .

Hi Knife Crazied -

I have an excellent quality pair of wire strippers made by Klein Tool.

My son-in-law is an electrician and these are the tools he uses in his trade.

best regards -

Well he is my relief today so when he shows in a few I'm hand him back his knife. It looks so much better then it did. Could still use some work but its looking pretty good. I'm try here real fast to get some cell phone photos of it and I'll upload them later.

Knife Crazied, is that the way to your heart? A guy brings you knives to sharpen instead of roses? :D

klein tools is the best for the electricain tools. I have a whole bunch of them. I have there plyers/ screw drivers/ reamers. if you are a electricain and dont know about them then you need to quit and go work at 7-11

Klein also does other fine fine tools, for a time I sold the snot out of their line of steel erection construction tools - wrenches, bars, hammers etc. Quality tools across the board.

"hand me the Kleins" was the phrase on line crews, but I have a couple of their knives and do not know who actually made them but they are fine knives, no doubt.

Their 10 in 1 screwdriver is one of the best tools I've ever owned. I blew a hole in a pair of Klein lineman pliers once after clipping into a 220 line that wasn't supposed to be hot. I never got so much as a jolt. Them's some good tools.

I didn't realize they were known for electrician's tools. I did know that I see a lot of Klein electrician's knives on Ebay. I have a couple. It makes sense now that I realize I've never seen any other style of Klein knife. Of course, "electrician's knife" is one of the few searches I do regularly, though.

years ago i bought a collection of old knives. one of the mint knives was a klein electrian knife with beatiful mirror polished blades. i had'nt seen polish like that since the german bruuckmans.

I have a set of Klein electrician tools, including an old but functioning 3-blade electrician's knife. (It was not new when my boss gave it to me in ~'78). Klein specializes in everything for the electrician. Top of the line stuff.

I also have Klein lockback knife that is the equal of anything I have seen for fit, finish, and bank-vault tight lockup. Stamped "JAPAN". Not sure of the blade alloy. They have some that are AUS8, but for the ones in this line the alloy is not identified. I carried it everyday for a spell in the early 90's. It still sees a bit of pocket time. For the price it is really hard to beat.
