Recommendation? KME - CBN emulsion vs lapping films?

Can't seem to find an answer anywhere, either on this forum or on Google in general. If this has been answered elsewhere, a link would be appreciated :)

Which is better for sharpening on a KME past the 1500 grit stone - CBN emulsion on a strop, or lapping films? It looks like both can get mirror edges, but are there any significant pros and cons between the two approaches?
 
I use the films, I have not tried cbn. I'll probably try diamond spray/paste as soon as I get more bench strops.
 
I've used cbn and diamond paste extensively.

I much prefer cbn. It seems to give a soother, shinier edge.

It works for me.
