Not going to list 'em all here (some of the titles are rather embarrassing:o ), but I've got about 20 in my collection, including a few rare titles (i.e., Knife Fighting Encyclopedia, Iron Butterfly, Brass Knuckle Bible, When the Going Gets Tough, and that nasty little pamphlet by Pentacost). No collectable WW2 combatives manuals, though -- and I'm keeping my copy of Keating's self-published book.

Nearly all my books are in "Like New" or "Very Good" condition. Three titles were purchased used, and are "reader" copies.

I've read each of these books at least twice, and they're taking up a lot of room on my bookshelf, and I'd like to swap the entire collection for a good knife. A few things I'm interested in include:

Quality OTF -- Microtech preferred,
TOPS "California Cobra",
Combat Elite "Covert Fixed Blade",
Spyderco "Civilian" w/ G-10 or CF handle,
Szabo "Ogre",
and, of course, Busses.

Thanks for looking!

Okay, a partial listing (from memory) includes:

Knife Fighting Encyclopedia (Extremely hard to find)
Bowie and Big Knife Fighting System (Excellent)
Sevillian Steel (Excellent)
The Sicilian Blade
Logic of Steel
Master of the Blade (Excellent)
Blade Master
Slash & Thrust
Balisong: Lethal Art of Filipino Knife Fighting
Balisong: Iron Butterfly (Extremely Rare)
Knives, Knife Fighting, and Related Hassles (Required reading!)
Bloody Iron
Put "Em Down . . .
P--- K--- Techniques
21 Techniques of S--- K---
Everyone's Knife Bible
Knife Fighting for Special Forces. . .
When the Going Gets Tough
Brass Knuckle Bible (Extremely Rare)

I can add to this several self defense books by Marc MacYoung, "Lead Poisoning" and "True Tales of American Violence" by Pfouts, and a copy of the Special Forces Medical Handbook.

That's about 25 really cool books for one knife! (Shipped Priority w/ insurance, of course).

If you're too embarrassed to post a reply, feel free to PM or e-mail me.;)

For a really good knife, I might even throw in a few VHS tapes.:)

Crossada (Keating)
Reverse Grip Knife Fighting (Keating)
Winning a Street Knife Fight (MacYoung).

ok, you really caught my attention now, are those the only knives you're interested in or are there any others?

I'm very particular, but would consider others, like the "Magnum Tanto IX". For a Cold Steel "Urban Spike" or an Ontario "Hell's Belle" I might part with about half the books, or a combination of books and videos.

The estimated value of this entire collection is well over **** (used copies of Knife Fighting Encyclopedia & Iron Butterfly typically sell at about **** each on Amazon, but I'm not taking that into consideration here -- **** is under original retail price of all items).

I like the Vaquero Grande, the Culloden, the Harpy, the Mikov -- but they'd need to be in NIB or Like New condition, and I'd need at least 2 such knives -- and time to consider other offers.

Last trade I did, 3 days after the first post someone made a really great offer -- just after I'd closed the deal with someone else. I think I may sit on this post for a week and see what offers come in.

If anyone's got something good, feel free to let me know. . . .
