knife kits from Jantz supply

The folding kits from Jantz are alot more expensive than the kits from Koval knives. Does anyone know if the kits from jantz use better materials like ATS 34 instead of 440 high carbon? I've made a couple from Koval now and want to try somethihng new. Are the kits from Jantz worth paying that much more? Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

Matt, I have been a Jantz customer for going on 4 years. The only item I ever got from them that I wasn't happy with was some sambar stag crowns. They weren't deffective or anything like that, they were just too small for what I needed. I called Jantz and they said send em back for a full refund. They have a very liberal return policy. If you get a folder kit and don't care for it, just let them know and send it back. Jantz is an excellent knife supply company in my book! Take care! Michael

Thanks a lot for the info. I'll probably be putting an order in soon.I can't stand not having anything to work on.
