Those of you viewing this forum now realize that I have a huge inventory of knife making tools, equipment, and machines for sale. I am attempting to liquidate my husband's shop. He has severe dementia. He has been unable to accomplish any real work in his shop for about 7 years. He was always an amateur knife maker but he was never one to spare any expense when it came to creating the absolute best knife maker's shop. In addition to the forum posts I have already made, I can and will subsequently try to add a massive a Beaudry Utility power hammer, a Covel surface grinder, a Grizzly Model G9744Z Metal Cutting Bandsaw, a Bridgeport Mill, an Enco lathe, a couple of leg vises, a Paragon KM-14D Knife Maker’s Heat Treating Furnace, a couple of 9" horizontal shaft grinders, bar stock steel of different composition, anvils, tongs, hammers, AND MORE! If that is not enough, I also have a Tippman Boss sewing machine on a cobbler's bench and an unbelievable array of leather working tools. I'm not interested in attempting to ship any one or two pieces of equipment but if someone were to purchase enough to make it worthwhile to bring a shipping company to my site, that would be negotiable. If there is an above mentioned item that interests you, please contact Nancy at seahorseknives@gmail.co and I will try to provide pictures and any other information I have at my disposal.

Thank you. It is indeed most horrible. My husband has dementia with Lewy Bodies and suffers from delusions and hallucinations that cause him tremendous anxiety.

I am very very sorry to hear about your husband I couldn't imagine. I am interested in the Paragon heat treat oven, just message me when you find the time. Thank you mam

I am asking $300 for the first leg vise and stand. I am asking $225 for the second vise and stand. I have a third one (pictured below) without a stand that has been outside in the weather so it's got a little rust and the handle shaft is bent a little but it still works great. I will sell it for $180.

iraisehorses - I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I know 1st hand what it can be like to have a family member with this exact condition. My Mother passed away this last March from Alzheimers which she was just 2 weeks shy from 20 years since diagnosis so it was a very difficult and long haul. 2 of my siblings and myself took care taking care of her in her home until her death. She lived with my Father but it got to be too difficult for him to do much to take care of her for the last several years so we all stepped in to help. My Father in law passed away 2 years ago this coming January from dimentia with lewy bodies. He eventually had to be put in a home until his passing because of the hallucinations and anxiety that you mentioned which is typical of this horrible disease as well as being extremely combative. People who have not gone through this 1st hand have no ideal of the difficulties in caring for someone that you loved all your life. I am glad I was able to help out as much as I did though. Keep up the strength.
