Any advice?

I am going on a trip to Las Vegas pretty soon, and I know from listening to the Knife Nuts Podcast for awhile that there is a knife store right on the vegas strip - not sure if I am allowed to mention the name of the shop here, but it looks like there is a physical showroom, and this store seems to specialize in auto/balisong knives. Autos aren't totally my thing, but I still love all the shinies of good knife store.

Naturally I kind of want to check it out time permitting, but if anyone here has been there, if you could share your experiences I would appreciate it. Given that they are a online dealer as well, I kind of hope they would not just be a tourist trap. Hell, even if they just sold a t shirt or bumper sticker I would like to support a physical knife store if it is worth the side trip to head over there.

Hope I am not being too vague here, but I don't want to ruffle bladeforums feathers.

You're not going to ruffle any feathers. What you cannot do is "deal spotting". If you ask for opinions, but don't name the knife store, don't be surprised when you get no responses. It's not because people don't want to help; it's because they don't know which store you are talking about.

PVK. It's a VERY small store. Mostly OTFs, autos, spinners, and knucks up front. They have a back room with the good stuff, but it seems like you have to be a part of the "in" crowd to be invited back there.

Was in there in late Sept. very small like 10 x 20 or so. Everything is in a case and the guy sets on a stool. Seemed to have good selection of mid range knives and playthings.

Bought a UTX-85 there in August. Right across the street from Aria, IIRC. Friendly staff, good selection for such a small space. They even mailed it home for me after my stay, as I like to carry-on my luggage.
