Out on the east coast I have been to a few cutlery stores that actually had custom made and top of the line production knives in stock. Here in Seattle all I have seen are the mall/chain stores, they have some good stuff, but no real customs, and they are just way over priced. I also have been to the Pike pl. market store; they used to occasionally have something cool, but not any more.
I hope that maybe there is a place I just dont know about in the greater Seattle area, a place that could give me the knife fix I need. Dont get me wrong, the internet has been great. I can see all kinds of great knives, and find them at their best prices. But sometimes looking and seeing new stuff in person is just what I need.
Sadly, over the last few years, my career has made it impossible for me to make it to the good shows, (and yes my job is worth it). I gonna have to miss the Eugene OR show next week. Man thats gonna hurt, but Im working on a movie, and we will be filming on that weekend.
So do any of you know of any place I could get my fix without driving two hours down to Oregon? Hopefully there is a place I somehow dont know about that is not very far away. Anyway, thanks for reading my post. -john
