18 days is passes without one answer :
Than therefore yesterday I began calling , this time calling about 6 times (800)338-6799support@knifecenter.com
They din't know what I was talking in about.
In the and of the day Bad experience no more!
BE Concerned:mad:

I don't know what happened in your transaction, but over the years
I've found knifecenter.com to be one of the best merchants I've ever
dealt with - on the internet or otherwise.

What do you mean by they didn't know what you were taliking about. Did they not have any record of an order corresponding to the reference number you were given?

If they have the knives in stock, they will ship them fast. Knifecenter is one of the reliable knife dealer on the virtual world.

Very surprising. I have found them to be extremely reliable, and freakishly fast, on numerous orders.

I suspect, and hope for, a glitch in the communications somewhere.

You need to do a couple of things first check your payment method facts, call your bank and find out if you card got debited.

Knife center is not a shuck and jive operation. All the posts on here are right on. They are legit, but find out what is going on with your card first. It may have never been debited.

I`ve almost exclusively dealt with knifecenter.com, and they`ve always delivered. Heck, they`ve been so fast, that i usually have my knives within a week.
Though i did have one interesting experience, when one of the workers there charged my card with the total amount, and used the wrong visa-card numbers.
So, i would do as shipwreck suggests, check your payment method facts, call your bank and check if your card has been charged, then email them again.
I`ve always gotten answer within 24 hours when emailing them.
(Though they rarely write more than a single line, sometimes above the previous message, sometimes below. So most of the time it doesn`t really look like they`ve written anything at all.)

I've made several knife purchases from this company with excellent results. If an item was out of stock they notified me and gave me the option to cancel or have them shipped when they received them. Pretty good company in my opinion.

I dunno, never had a problem. Purchased two knives from them and both were timely shipped and great flow up. Sounds like a fluke (every retailer/dealer has a few).

i've only had this happen once with them, with something that was backordered

although, i am currently waiting on a partial order with some stuff that was backordered and they shipped the other stuff already

I've probably ordered from knifecenter.com 20-30 times over the years. Never had a problem. 1sks.com, knifeoutlet.com, newgraham.com -- same story. All have provided excellent service over the years.

this is imho some kinda misscomunication or something, and i'm sure a plausible explanation is coming, knifecenter is a top notch place, i've done i dont know how many deals with them, the last 8 yrs or so, every one of them 110%, i dont know that i've ever heard bad about them..........

they were the 1st internet dealer i ever tried FWIW and have been around a while.

You know BTW they have a couple of phone numbers, one toll free.

And they always answer during business hours
I'd suggest giving them a call; based on my experience
they will quickly solve any open issues you have with them.

They are a thoroughly professional operation.

I'm pretty sure I've bought knives from them before and had no trouble...

BUT... back on Jan 25th I ordered a Merkur razor from their "shaving center" branch because it was listed IN STOCK. The next day it was listed as OUT OF STOCK and they said my order would be shipped in 7 to 10 working days. After that period, I inquired as to my order's status, and they said the item was being shipped from their distributor and would be in by the end of the following week. OK, another week, I'll put up with it. That Friday, I told them that if my order wasn't in the mail Tuesday (now yesterday) that they should cancel my order. Well, so far I've heard nothing either way. Here it is, nearly a month later on an item that was supposed to be in stock.

OK, out of stock, fine. Thanks for telling me, I'll order it somewhere else. But in this case they string me along with dates when the order will supposedly be in, which keeps me on the hook. Here it is, nearly a month later. I'm not too thrilled about it.

I won't be buying anything else from these guys.

Sir,
If you call then directly at their 1 800 number and speak with Howard who is the owner, I bet you will get a response. The knifecenter is one of the best places to buy a knife and I have never had a problem with their service.

You're right. Upon reflection, I find that my service from Knifecenter was actually exemplary. This is actually the best service I've ever gotten! And now, after a month of being strung along with BS shipping dates and ignored e-mails, all I have to do is call the owner to find out what's going on. I can't wait to get this kind of great service again!!!
