not to sound like a cheerleader, but it's so 80's and has so many action movies clichees, I've actually enjoyed it a lot :)
plus, besides the Hibben customs(http://www.hibbenknives.com/expendables.htm), this movie has a motherload of knives

Is there a lot of blade play or menacing in the flick? I might have to go and see it!

Isn't that a Darrel Ralph design in the second picture? I might be wrong though...

I know Fehrman designed the one knife used by the bad guy. It was discussed in TK issue of May 2010.

We need more action flicks that honor the 80's action genre. Still, I expected more something over the top, over kill style like Arnold's Commando. You know: Rule of Cool kills realism like in Commando where arnold uses single hand to use M60 and mow downs enemies.

Still, Expendaples is one of the best action flicks recently. I hate when action flicks need to corporate moral dilemma's, moral problems or other deep spiritual thing. Thank you Matrix for ruining action flicks. Thank for the Expendaples not to follow Matrix in this term.

Movies with knives are always good.... well mostly :D

If you are talking about the bloodmoon (pic below), it did not make the movie in the end, and the price to buy one dropped by about half after that also.
