ksf izula sheath:
my knife fits great, very little movement while the button is fastened. on my belt, the deployment is fast. once you have your hand on the izula handle your thumb has natural placment on the release button. the size of the sheath is similar to the factory izula sheath with exception to the release button and the firesteel holder. the sheath has 3 metal lined holes for paracord or ballchain neckcarry. also this sheath would be compatible with a wrapped or non wrapped izula. the leather itself is heavyduty, very good quality.

the only con that I have on this sheath is the fact that it has no drainhole in the bottom of the sheath.

ksf rc-3 sheath:
this sheath is top of the line in leather for the rc-3 knife, my knife fits great. the buttonstrap locks the knife in very secure. the sheath has many holes for many applications of paracord, there is also 2 holes at the bottom of the sheath for leg tiedown. one of the things I like the most is this sheath has a drainhole in the bottom, it also has a firesteel holder. this sheath is very heavyduty and looks as it could withstand many years of use in rough conditions!

special thanks to derrick @ knivesshipfree, they have customer service that is along the same lines as rat cutlery, damn it is nice to deal with companies that care for their customers!

That ratpacker knife looks well mated to that black sheath! Love the Izula leather sheath.

Any chance you'd have a RAT Firekit to see if it's fit at all in the firesteel loop?

no sorry I don't have the rat firekit.

but I bet from the images of the firekit it looks as it my very well fit!

It's good to see someone with that sheath for the rc-3, I've been interested in it but have not pulled the trigger yet...now i'm alot closer :)

Damn! I had no desire for that leather Izula sheath until I saw it in black.

That looks sweet!

very interested in that rc-3 sheath. that fire steel holder is compatible with pretty much all of them right?

Beautiful.... a great knife always deserves a beautiful leather sheath....

there is nothing and I mean nothing wrong with the rat cutlery sheaths. I just like leathers, I have always thought there was something personal about a leather sheath. I guess they carry age as well as the knife, which has a story all it's own!

Wow, thanks for those photos.

I didn't even consider the RC-3 sheath, didn't like that on the photos at ksf, but with that orange and black that looks sweet!
