I was cruising through poor ol Gander Mountain today and found some KUHL shorts that I really liked. They fit great so I bought them at 25% off. Are they as good as the Northface shorts I buy? They are about the same price. One of the workers said they have a no questions asked LIFETIME GARANTY. I can't seem to find anything about that.
Any info, or did I waist my $$?

Ive worn out a few pairs of Kuhl pants and have always purchased them on sale at GM or Ebay and always under $50. I just started buying Prana pants and find them to be even more comfortable. I pretty much only wear, Prana, Mountain Khakis, Patagonia pants that have a gusseted crotch and 4 way stretch fabric. I find great deals on Ebay all the time, just gotta be patient.
Edit* I have a few older pair of NF pants and shorts, I like them but the newer materials are just so comfortable, breath better and worth the premium price. You didn't waste your money, but i didn't know about any lifetime guarantee.

Sorry for the title screw up. My phone is horrible.
I have shorts from Cabela's, Bass Pro, and Gander too. Just the canvas feeling heavy duty ones. These KUHL are by far the most comfortable.

I've got a pair of the pants, heavy material, fit great, and found a jacket at rei, but the price was way to high, got on eBay for less than half.
I like the pants, but a bit heavy for warm weather, the jackets great, if I can find them for half the suggested retail I'd buy more of them.
I do think they are a bit over designed, except for the jacket, kind of a 70s work coat in heavy material.

I have a bunch of Kuhl stuff. Pants, shorts, shirts, and sweaters. Shirts and sweaters still going strong. Pants I tend to wear out in about 3 years which I think is decent use for daily wear and lots of dirt/grinding/etc. I do try to buy off season old stock so there's a price break.

I have two Kuhl wool pullovers that I got on sale a few years back. Now they are my favorite casual sweaters.

I wear the Kuhl Ryder pants everyday. They are a bit warm in the summer though.
