The khukuri was finally delivered to the happy owner, my friend Nick. Here are a few pics when I gave it to him. He had already seen it by following the WIP thread.
This is by no mean a small knife but as you can see by the size of his hands, its a good fit.

Of course I felt the need to point out the flaws.
Not that I had to though. He knows as much about knives as a knifemaker would.
And my friend Bob on the right is was a machinist and has a very good eye so he can spot any defects, no matter how small. He is very supportive though.
This concludes the Khukuri adventure. I will surely build another eventually but I have a few other designs to try first.
