Kydex Vacuum Press Issues

Hello All!

I finally got around to setting up my vacuum press and I am encountering a few issues.

At first glance I was pretty happy with the mold, but when I took a look down the knife there is a nice bend/warp to the sheath.

Has anyone encountered this kind of issue?

I am using Suede lined kydex, heating to around 350 F. Kydex is from https://www.indexthermoplastics.com/inner-black-suede-fabric-kydex.html

Sorry, I can't help you. I use a plate steel press. I have been interested in the vacuum presses. Hopefully someone will help you and we can see some photos. I'll never have a facebook account.
